FINAL EXAM - May 16, 9-12 morning. what to know

Readings: Textbook chapters 7 (Nuclear Energy), 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17. Your notes on nuclear and alternative energy, water resources, lots on climate change, metal pollution and so on. Handouts on line + articles on line (see links in syllabus (this page)).

Grading: The three problemsets 20%, Midterm 25 %, Project 25 %, Final 30 % THE FINAL ONLY COVERS MATERIAL PRESENTED SINCE THE SPRING BREAK!
 
Termpapers should be handed in on the last day of classes (May 8) by 11:59 PM. I am looking for 5-8 pages of printed text (double spaced) with figures, tables and references as needed.

THERE WILL BE ONE LONG CLASS PRESENTATION EVENT: POWERPOINTS, THEATER, DANCE, MUSIC, FILMS, MIME ETC: ON THURSDAY MAY 10, FROM 8 PM TILL ??? IN ROOM ESC 58.

Optional EXTRA
An afternoon Fieldtrip will be possibly made on Saturday May, 12, 1-5 PM, to the Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center and Wheelers Marsh system in the mouth of the Housatonic River, CT. Wear old cloths and shoes - you will get muddy! Send me an e-mail if you like to join
